The Faculty of Law, University of Palermo will receive the visit of the Constitutional Law Professor Robert James Cottrol, the George Washington University Law School. Prof. Cottrol

conduct two seminars:

Equality and employment discrimination in the United States

and the social sciences and structural evidence in the case

Both meetings will place on 1 and December 2 respectively at 18:30 in the classroom 7-5 of the headquarters of Mario Bravo 1050 Faculty of Law, University of Palermo. The

Prof. Cottrol written on constitutional law and history have been published in the Yale Law Journal, Georgetown Law Journal, American Journal of Legal History, in Law and Society Review, Slavery and Abolition: A Journal of Slave and Post-Slave Studies , American Quarterly, among others. His current research contrasts the role that the law in the development of slavery and racial hierarchy in the United States and Latin America.
