Request the Government to adopt an effective policy on drugs
• Political analyst Jimmy Ortiz, the Bolivian authorities should require a serious policy State to end this scourge.
• Add the arrest in Miami of former director of the FELCN, René Sanabria is a tragic news for the police and the country.
The arrest of a retired general of the Bolivian police, René Sanabria in Panama and his subsequent transfer to a prison in the United States, continues to generate controversy in the country.
According to analyst Jimmy Ortiz Santa Cruz, Bolivians are obliged to demand that the authorities of a more serious state to end this terrible scourge.
"Where once was a storm, a tsunami today. Bolivians can not continue to endure this terrible situation, which tends to worsen, we must express our voice in protest, "he said.
The expert said that the arrest of another former director of the Special Force against Drug Trafficking (FELCN) in Miami, René Sanabria is a tragic news for the police and the country at large, as it is in finding empirical penetrated how is the institution of the order and the Ministry of Government by the drug mafias also international level is unknown how the Government reached its metastasis.
For Ortiz, the dangerous rise of drug trafficking and consumption in Bolivia, is not being treated with due seriousness that is for the government or the state.
He said the police is simply a victim , as are the sisters Teran, the narco-amauta, drug counselor, drug-misses and young people living in the drainage canals of our cities, along drug addicts and social consumers scattered around the world.
"No one is free to fall into their clutches, the 72,000 million dollars annually in the world moves are not easy to resist, because the drug cocaine is the illicit business generates more money in the world. The real culprit in all this is the Government for lack of a real drug policy "he said.
In his opinion, it is grotesque that the president himself is also president of the coca growers of Chapare, an area where thousands of hectares of coca is illegal, which would be aimed at a very high percentage of drug trafficking.
The analyst said that since the MAS came to power, it was relatively controlled item is totally overwhelmed. "Today is planting coca and cocaine even in national parks and forest reserves, before intercepting kilos, tonnes today intersect, "he said.
He referred to the words of former Colombian President Cesar Gaviria, who said: "We Colombians neglect , look the other way for many years and at least think, put in check drug trafficking in the country, institutions and democracy, and killed two presidential candidates ". Is this what we want to Bolivia, he asked.
said two recent events corroborate the statements: the interpellation to the Minister Sacha Llorenti last Friday, where government authority was not censored so MPs believed that when the country will be jointly responsible regain sanity. On the second point, said that if President Morales dismissed Llorenti, it means that you agree with his administration and everything it implies.
He added that these two events clearly show that the MAS government, it agrees with all the anomalous situation of drug trafficking in Bolivia.
For his part, Deputy National Convergence, Adrian Oliva, said that there should be more research on the police, especially in the case of General Sanabria and other commanders who were involved, so it warned that the problem is linked to the crisis the Ministry of Government and the fight against drug trafficking.
In his opinion, these events seek to conceal what is happening today, but people realize that the Government was penetrated by drug trafficking and faces very serious to justify what has happened.
Note .- Here is the story at length that was sent to The Journal:
Police Drug Trafficking and
By Jimmy Ortiz Saucedo
The arrest in Miami of Gen. René Sanabria, is tragic news for the police in particular and the country in general. Is empirical evidence of how penetrated the police and the Ministry of Government, international drug mafias. And we do not know for sure until they reach their level of government metastasis.
The dangerous increase in traffic and consumption of drugs in Bolivia, is not being treated with due seriousness as appropriate. Neither the government nor by the state.
The arrest of General Sanabria, by a foreign government, is the unmistakable sign that Bolivia is transforming, if it is not, in a narco-state. EL NARCO Multinational State. For international embarrassment to us all.
The police are just another victim, as what are the narco-Terán sisters, with the narco-amauta Evo, with the narco-advisor, such as narco mises, such as young people living in the drainage canals of our city, as thousands of drug addicts and social dispersed consumers in the world.
no one is safe from falling into their clutches. The U.S. $ 72,000 million (<- ver link) que mueve anualmente en el mundo, no son fáciles de resistir. El narcotráfico de la cocaína, es el negocio ilícito que más dinero genera en el mundo.
The real culprit in all this is President Morales and his government , the lack of a real drug policy, to say the least. It is grotesque that Morales himself is also chairman of Coraleros of the Chapare. Area illegal coca, for drug trafficking in high percentage.
Since they came to power, this topic was relatively controlled, is completely overwhelmed. Today planting coca and cocaine is made up parks and forest reserves .
intercepted before kilos, tonnes today intersect. Where once was a storm, today is a tsunami.
Bolivians can no longer bear this terrible situation, which tends to worsen. You have to express our protest. We have to reveal. We must demand that our authorities would be a state policy to end this terrible scourge.
remember the words of former President Cesar Gaviria, "We Colombians neglect , look the other way for many years and at least think, drug buzzed the country, institutions and democracy, killing two presidential candidates (<- ver link).
Is this what we want for Bolivia?
It appears so. Two recent events bear this out:
1) The so-called interpolation between compadres of yesterday, the Minister Sacha Llorenti. Far from being censured, almost canonized! These parliamentarians will also be responsible, when the country regains sanity.
2) The fact that President Morales dismissed Llorenti, it means that you agree with his administration and everything it implies.
These two acts show us, clearly, that the government's more if you agree with all of this anomalous situation of drug trafficking in Bolivia. --------------------------------
